QLGF is a welcoming and supportive group for Quakers of all sexualities and those who, while not Quakers, are in general sympathy with the Quaker thought and lifestyle. We aim to encourage friendship and support among members; also to help members who are experiencing difficulties in being accepted or accepting themselves as lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgendered. We aim to promote dialogue at all levels within the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers) with a view to achieving a deeper mutual understanding.

Queer Village is currently changing servers and it may be a month or so before it is back up and running. In the meantime, they are still live with Pretty Pink Pearl, their LGBT shopping site.

The Queer Village started life as just a small Lesbian T-shirt Shop (pretty pink pearl), designing and making original Lesbian t-shirts. Over the last 3 years we have changed and expanded and on 14th February 2010 after an 8 months in beta phase we became thequeervillage.com. We now have over 11000 members (Accurate – July 2010) and we have become known as the friendliest social networking site on the web. This June we took another huge step into online retailing and purchased Sinnersaint.co.uk our online jewellery and gift store. Things are really looking bright here at the village and we love you all being here!!
