LGBTsoc is a society for anyone, regardless of sexuality, to come together, meet up for coffee, go to a bar, club nights, gay scene nights, city trips, set up sport teams, and access help and support – making some great friends and sharing some amazing memories.  We’ve got an epic set of events lined up for the new term in October, including trips to London and Cardiff, MUTiNY’s alternative tunes, a ‘meet the society’ evening, an inter-university bar crawl, a film night, coffee afternoons and bowling/shopping at Cribbs. Remember that you need to re-join the society in order to be a member for the coming year so come and visit our stall at the Freshers’ Fair on the 7th and the 8th. You will be able to collect our fab new handbook and an events calendar at Freshers’ Fair. For new students interested in joining, you can also register online at our website (, or if you don’t have a student number yet then you can email the committee at with your name, email address, and year of study.
